The goal of this action is to active lobby individual members of the Milwaukee County Board to support Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker's zero tax increase reform agenda
The action will consist of a multi-faceted campaign to inform citizens of the zero percent tax increase proposals and urge them to contact their county supervisors to support a zero percent county tax levy increase during the current budget cycle.
The gray bar on the left lists all 19 Milwaukee County Superisors including their picture, district number, name, phone, fax, and a special link titled 'E-Mail 0% Tax Increase Directive.'
On most web bowsers, clicking this link will display a pre-formatted e-mail message directing the associated county supervisor to vote against all tax increases and in favor of the County Executive's 0% budget proposal. Find your county supervisor on the list and consider sending YOUR directive. Remember, it their job to represent your desires and values or face the consequences.
If you do not know who your supervisor is use the online tool below to locate your supervisor by simply typing in your address.
When the pre-formatted e-mail message appears, be certain to add your name and address to the bottom of the message where indicated. Most government officials will ignore all such messages that cannot be verified as coming from their district. You may also feel free to add to or change any of the pre-formatted text provided as it is only meant to serve as a guide.
You can contact your county supervisor by calling the County Board main switchboard at 414-278-4222 and asking for your supervisor by name. You can also click any of the the supervisor names or pictures on the left to go to their home page.
