Keep in mind that a large portion of the CRG Network Web Portal
is database driven. Much of the information is stored in a
database and then displayed based on the the selection and
sorting criteria you provide. In essence, the page you see
is a custom, dynamically created page that exist only for the
brief period of time you see it. Web search engines are
only capable of indexing static pages such as the Web Portal
Home Page. It is best to use the on-page selection and
sort criteria to find specific items in sections such as the
Issues, Politicians, and Better Government Bureau sections.
By default the search engine tries to locate pages which have exact
matches for all of the words entered in your search. If
that fails, it then tries to locate pages which contain any
words in your search. If that happens a short message is
displayed at the top of the search results indicating this has
been done. In addition, there are several ways to modify the
default search behavior.
+ and - qualifiers

* wildcard
If a query word ends with a * all words on a page which start
the same way as that query word will match.
Example: gift*
? wildcard
If a query word contains a ? any character will match that
position.
